Professional trade wood coatings
The wide range of products offers the right products and systems for every wood application indoors and outdoors: from impregnations and primers to medium and thick layer varnishes to weather protection paints and wood finishing systems.
- Impregantion agents - impregnations protect the wood against discolouring and destructive fungi as well as insect and termite infestation
- Primers - ensure the best possible adhesion of subsequent coatings to the substrate. The individual primers perform the appropriate tasks.
- 3in1 wood protection varnishes - high-quality composition of wood preservative impregnation, primer and varnish in one product.
- Medium-build varnishes - Particularly valuable wood components such as profiled wood, garden furniture, but also windows and doors can be protected most effectively with film-forming varnishes from Remmers
- High-build varnishes - Dimensionally stable wood building elements must retain this high level of dimensionally. High-build varnishes are still the best way to achieve this.
- Weather protection paints, white and coloured varnishes - Highly pigmented weather protection paints and varnishes produced by Remmers are right on trend, and with good reason.
- Interior wood finishing - emphasise the natural beauty of the wood while also preserving the appearance and stability of the material over the long term.
- Supplementary products - additions to the assortment that are universal with regard to the area of application or can be used in connection with many wood coatings.

Coatings for windows & doors
Impregnation agents
Induline impregnations offer protection against wood staining and wood-destroying fungi and, if necessary against insect and termite infestation. Also, they protect the most sensitive parts of the wood window, especially when applied to the individual parts. Protection of the end-grain woods and therefore the corner connections against moisture. This protection is a basic prerequisite for a durable wood window.
- Watering effect: the subsurface is saturated and the creation of stains is minimised with coloured primers; sanding effort is also reduced because the wood fibres stand up.
- Protection of the corner connections / end-grain woods against moisture as the most important prerequisite for durable construction elements
- Protection against damage by wood-destroying and wood staining fungi
- Protection against insects and termites
- Tested effectiveness with practical application quantities
Primers
Induline primers ensure good adhesion of the subsequent coatings on the subsurface. This is a basic requirement for durable surfaces. Also, the Induline primers assume other functions depending on the required surface or type of wood.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- Process-stable during application, optimum flow properties and minimisation of the sanding effort
- Glazing Induline primers: brilliant glaze finish & UV protection thanks to highly-transparent iron oxide pigmentation
- Optimum pore filling and welling of hard woods: for very aesthetic surfaces
- White Induline primers: Insulation of substances in the wood
Intermediate coats
Induline intermediate coats are applied industrially in flooding or dynflow applications and make the coating process extremely rational. Also, optimum moisture protection is ensured for the wood elements because the coatings reliably reach all areas of the wooden part that needs to be painted. There are spray grades for very good insulating effect available for professional applications, for house doors and for problematic wood. There are now even transparent solutions that also guarantee a good insulating effect. These variants can be used both as a glaze or opaque top coat. No time-consuming retooling necessary.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- High efficiency and very good moisture protection thanks to flooding and dynflow application
- Best possible insulation effect: Induline spray qualities for problematic wood
- Minimisation of the retooling effort thanks to insulating transparent Induline intermediate coats for opaque and glazing coating structures
- Optimum pore filling and welling of hard woods: for very aesthetic surfaces
Finishing coats
Induline top coats are primarily responsible for the extremely long renovation intervals of our coating systems. The binding agent quantity and quality are decisive for the paint quality and therefore, also the longevity of the entire surface. In particular, self-crosslinking acrylates of the latest generation are used. This guarantees early weather resistance and wet adhesion.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- Rational application: with Dynflow systems, spray robots and airless/airmix spray systems
- Aesthetic surfaces: Very good flow properties, optimum pore wetting and pleasant haptics
- Early usability and block resistance = painted elements can be delivered after a short time
- Minimisation of the damage potential for ‘winter constructions’ and against water stains thanks to early water resistance
- Thick-layer stains: brilliant glaze pattern and UV protection thanks to highly transparent iron oxide pigmentation and microfoam-optimised formulations
- Opaque top coats: Helps the insulation effect against substances in the wood in the system with blocking Induline primers and intermediate coats
- High permanent elasticity: for durable coatings
Natural effect paint
There is a growing demand, in particular for construction elements made of light wood types - e.g. oak, - to leave them looking as natural as possible. This is a furniture and flooring trend that has been observed for some years. The water-based natural effect paint Induline NW-740/05 can be used as a finish on wood-alu windows, windows, conservatories and house doors made of wood. Elements not directly exposed to the effect of the weather are not fired by the transparent applications of lacquer and therefore look almost unpainted. RockPoint Technology also supplies pigmented natural colours in a cloth-matt finish for the respective wood types that are exposed to direct weathering. The result: Maximum natural look and added UV protection as well as protection against hand cream and scratches.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- Cloth-matt surface with very slight wood firing
- The wood looks natural
- With added scratch resistance and head cream resistance
- Surfaces tend not to shine
- Transparent: for protected constructions
- Natural colours: also for direct weathering
Intermediate & finishing coats for wood / aluminium windows
The combination of wood and aluminium makes each window a highlight. Whilst wood, as a material, ensures living comfort and a sense of well-being, wood-alu windows are ideally protected outside from the weather, almost maintenance-free. Without the direct impact of weathering, surfaces can be created with highly transparent finishes and the feel of elegant furniture. In this way, classic ‘window woods’ such as European spruce, larch and oaks can be given a both modern and classic look alike. Be it painted or in an oiled look: This guarantees the creation of a very natural wood look and touch, also sustainable on request, at any time.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- Painted surfaces in a furniture paint quality in various levels of shine
- With highly transparent UV absorbers to prevent light-coloured woods from darkening
- Oiled finish and feel in a submersion, flooding or spray application
- Cloth-matt natural effect painting: the components almost look untreated
- No worries about polluted air: selected systems have undergone an emission test based on the AgBB concept
- Active contribution to conservation of global resources and the environment thanks to biomass balancing
Finishing coat for front doors
Wooden house doors, as the building’s calling card, is the most important architectural design element for the appearance of the façade. However, its surface is particularly exposed to every-day mechanical loads. The high-quality 1K top coats by Remmers set completely new standards here and even exceed the resistance of conventional window coating systems that were previously only used to design house doors, also as part of the specialised 2K paint systems.
- Customer benefits in detail:
- Uncomplicated and economic because they are 1-component systems: no mixing errors, pot life and paint residues generally associated with 2K products
- Also, they are resistant to hand cream and scratches: for very durable day-to-day use
- Perfect for combining: ideally tuned to the buildings windows and very trendy
- Great flow properties for highly aesthetic surfaces
Wood protection and preservation
Preventive wood preservation
With its ready-to-use impregnations and wood preservative concentrates, RockPoint Technology stands for the serious use of wood preservatives, for increasing the level of protection and extending the life cycles of wood components - not least in the sense of storing CO2 as long as possible.
Impregnation process of construction timber
- Infestation cannot be ruled out in most construction methods
- Technically dried wood can be infested by insects and fungi
- Use of the wood preserving agents in combination with construction measures offers optimum indemnity - also for battens in the roof and wall
Temporary protection against mould and blue stain
Fresh wood - a paradise for fungi & mould - our product offers a temporary protection against the fungus groups.
Wood refurbishment
Reconstruction of destroyed wood and restoration of wood contaminated with pollutants.
Wood Strengtheners and Wood Replacement Compounds offer the possibility of stabilising and restoring wooden components that have been damaged by insect or fungal attack. Areas of application are particularly focused for listed buildings. Wood containing pollutants such as PCP or lindane, for example, can be effectively masked with an independently tested system: For this purpose, the first step is to fix the pollutant within the wood, then secondly, completely seal it off so that it can no longer get into the air.
- Wood consolidation and replacement
- Restoration of PCP and lindane contaminated wooden surfaces
